The Art of "Flow" climbing with Becca Droz
LOCATION
Shelf Road
Flow is a focused, present state of mind where we feel our best and perform our best. While “flow” feels amazing and is accessible to all of us, it can be elusive to find. In Becca’s clinic, you'll learn about the flow state and practice techniques to inspire this state of mind on the wall.
Prerequisite: Outdoor climbing experience is all!
Projecting Tactics
With Tammy Wilson
The Art of Projecting helps climbers learn how to be smart while trying routes at or near their limit. Projecting isn't just about being stronger...it's also about learning the tactical skills to be smarter on route. With that being said, this clinic will teach you:
-
How to break a route into workable pieces
-
The "anything goes" method when figuring out beta
-
How to stick clip up a route
-
To celebrate all wins on a route; big or small
-
How to cope with mental barriers while projecting
All participants get a LaSportiva goodie bag
Prerequisites: All participants must be able to belay with an assisted locking belay device.
Catching + Falling
Becoming a better leader
In the Catching + Falling clinic you will explore the relationship between climber & belayer, while emphasizing the trust building process around trying hard and falling on lead. Along with your guides, you'll be challenged and guided to cultivate positive energy, expand emotional intelligence, and incorporate well thought out feedback into your climbing days. Your instructors are Meg Nickman, and Jess Worley.
Prerequisites- lead climb & belay certified at any climbing gym.
Outdoor Climbing
with Aubrey Runyon
Outdoor Climbing with Aubrey and Guides gives WSCF participants the chance to climb with a group of climbers while getting guidance from Aubrey Runyon and two talented guides, Ada Jones and Finn Short. General questions around outdoor leading, technique, and tactics are encouraged!
This 'clinic' is perfect for you if you don't have your own outdoor climbing gear, want to meet + climb with new people while feeling supported by professionals. It's also a great option for you if you want to learn more about outdoor leading, technique and tactics.
Prerequisites - ready to have fun!!

Community Connection
Runway Fashion Show
We Send Climbing Festival is inviting you to join as exactly who you are. Every single day we are asked to be different versions of ourselves, and sometimes we can lose sight of ourselves. We don't have enough opportunity to show up exactly as we are. This fashion show is asking you to imagine being a turtle and getting the opportunity to step outside of your shell. What exists there?

Mental Health
Rock climbing is a sport where we can explore our passion, our connection to our bodies and to nature. In this workshop we will explore what rock climbing can teach us about our mental health, how to manage stress responses, and how to create plans to keep yourself healthy. We will play games, break into smaller groups with specific foci, answer questions, and have plenty of time to connect with your fellow crushers. Our goal is to inspire and empower you to be intentional with your climbing, community and mental health.
Join us Saturday, April 27th from 4-5:30pm for a free workshop.
